Loy Kratong is a Buddhist tradition well practiced in Thailand since Sukhothai period. Thousands of little flower floats are put into the water every year to pay respect to the water goddress. While this tradition is beautiful and well-loved, floating so many kratongs in the water can create polutions and contaminate the sea.
